Kifooo (كيفووو, at kifooo.com) is a privacy-focused chat website: end-to-end encrypted private chats and groups, direct video calls, and an in-chat AI assistant, in English and Arabic.
Is Kifooo free?
Yes. Signing up, chatting and video calls are free. You only need a name, an email and a password.
Can anyone read my messages?
No. Messages are encrypted on your device with keys only the chat participants hold. The server and the site admins only see ciphertext.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Kifooo works directly in your browser on phone and desktop.
How do I use the AI assistant?
Type @ai followed by your question in any chat, or tap the assistant button. Only your question (not the rest of the chat) is sent to the AI provider, and the reply appears in the chat.
Does it support video calls?
Yes, direct and encrypted one-to-one video calls from the browser.
Why can't I send images or emoji?
Kifooo is designed as a calm, safe text space; leaving out media reduces spam and abusive content and keeps chats light and fast.
What if I forget my password?
Your password protects your encryption key, so nobody, including us, can decrypt your old messages without it. Keep it somewhere safe.
